Professor Magdalena Ślusarczyk - a graduate of sociology (Institute of Sociology of the Jagiellonian University) and German philology (first-cycle studies of the NKJO UJ). In 2005, she defended her doctoral thesis and completed postgraduate studies in career counseling. Currently, sis an assistant professor at the Department of Research on Population Issues at the Jagiellonian University. She was a member of the research teams of several international projects (FP6 and the German Foreign Ministry program, the Polish-Norwegian Research Cooperation project, Erasmus +), currently she is a team member in the H2020 project. She cooperated with the Ombudsman Office and the Committee for Migration Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He is a member of the editorial committee of Studia Migracyjnych-Przegląd Polonijnego, belongs to the Jagiellonian Center for Migration Studies. Since 2019, she has been a member of the Committee for Migration Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Committee of Demographic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Her main research interests include the sociology of migration and education.
