Katarzyna Zielińska is Associate Professor at the Institute of Sociology at Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Her academic interests focus on intersections of religion, gender and politics in contemporary Europe. She has published numerous articles in Polish and international academic journals She has (co-)authored three monographs and co-edited a few multi-author monographs. In the Institute of Sociology, she teaches and supervises students in sociology of religion and gender.

She is head of Department of Department of Social Research on Religion and Chair of Institute of Sociology Council.
