Magdalena Ślusarczyk - Sociologist and Germanist, Associate Professor in the Institute of Sociology of the Jagiellonian University, member of the Committee on Migration Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Committee on Demographic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. She has been involved in numerous international (e.g. Erasmus+, Norway Grants, Horizon 2020) and national (OPUS) projects. She willingly cooperates with social entities (Krakow City Hall).

In her research work, she combines issues of education and migration, tries to find answers to questions such as: what are the most important debates on changes in education in the country and in the world at the moment, whether every child has equal opportunities at school, and what tools should be used to build equality at school.
