COMETS Mid-Term Conference & EERA e3s Joint Programme event

Engaging and Empowering Citizens in the Energy Transition through Social Innovation

The conference is jointly organized with the EERA e3s Joint Programme with the aim of discussing approaches, methodologies and evidence to address the challenge of fostering the role of citizens in the energy transition process.

Contributions to the discussion will come from H2020 projects, experts and researchers on the following topics:

• social empowerment,
• social impacts,
• social and stakeholders engagement,
• social, cultural and historical context,
• technology,
• decision making,
• regulatory framework,
• financial and innovative business models.

The morning sessions (9:30-13:00 CET) will be dedicated to COMETS mid-term presentations while the afternoon sessions (14:00-16:00 CET) will be the e3s Workshop, including presentations by three of our sister projects (NEWCOMERS, SocialRES, and SONNET).

EXTRA: from 16:15-17:30 CET the e3s General Assembly meeting will be held after the main event (this meeting is for members and for those interested in joining e3s are welcome to attend; more information can be found HERE / Please register separately on the registration page).
