Her second area of interest is gender equality. She has worked in many research projects – both in relation to gender equality in family (GEQ. Gender Equality and Quality of Life. How gender equality can contribute to development in Europe. A study of Poland and Norway), as well in academia (GENERA. Gender Equality Network in European Research Area, Horizon 2020). Since 2018 she coordinates the Horizon 2020 project at the Jagiellonian University ACT – Communities of Practice for Accelerating Gender Equality and Institutional Change in Research and Innovation across Europe, which aims at supporting Central and Eastern European research institutions in implementation of gender equality policies through establishing a Community of Practice #ACTonGEinCEE (act-on-gender.eu).

Her contribution to debates on youth policy and youth work includes several reports, articles, as well as two books: Youth Policy in Ukraine (with Howard Williamson, CoE, 2013) and Learning mobility, social inclusion and non-formal education: Access, processes and outcomes (with M. Devlin, S. Kristensen, M. Nico (eds.), CoE, 2017). She was an expert of the Expert group on Youth Work Quality Systems (European Commission 2013-2015) and a member of Ad-hoc high level task force on youth work (Council of Europe 2018-2019).
