The 18th Polish Sociological Congress stands as an invitation to a collaborative reflection upon the most important social phenomena of the 21st century and to a bold gaze into the future. The theme of this Congress, which will take place on September 14-17, 2022 in Warsaw, is Society of the Future: Recompositions.

Participation in this year's Congress was announced by eminent representatives of our discipline from a number of leading research and academic centers in Poland and abroad, as well as the chairmen of the most important international sociological associations: the International Sociological Association and the European Sociological Association.

The congress is created participatory and mostly grassroots. The Program Council, by the decision of the Main Board of the Polish Sociological Society, for the first time in history is co-created by the chairmen of all Sections operating within the Polish Sociological Association structures or persons delegated by them. Sections to enable the active participation of sociologists from all over Poland in shaping the program and ensuring a wide representation of the sub-disciplines of sociology.

Thanks to this, this year's Congress will be an opportunity to present the enormous potential of our discipline while focusing attention on current and socially important issues.
