• International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (IAGG) Asia/Oceania Regional Congress (masterclass –“Population Ageing and Work in Later Life”).

Prof. Jolanta Perek-Białas and Maria Varlamova prepared an article on Age Management and Labor Market Policies to the Encyclopedia of Gerontology and Population Aging was prepared: Perek-Białas J., Varlamova M. (2019) Age Management and Labor Market Policies. In: Gu D., Dupre M. (eds) Encyclopedia of Gerontology and Population Aging. Springer, Cham.

Maria Varlamova was also given numerous opportunities to develop managerial skills by the formation of a research plan and help in preparing the future Cracow TS, as well as by participating in the preparation of the WP1 activities and deliverables. Together with two other ESRs, she was responsible for preparing the scenario of the ITN video “Bridging Science and Policy” and took part in its filming. The project was also presented at Fall International Institute for the Sloan Research Network on Aging & Work in Boston and disseminated in the framework of Małopolska Researchers’ Night 2019.

The debate took place on January 24, 2020 at the Małopolska Conference of Public Employment Services. The event was organized by the Voivodship Labor Office in Krakow together with poviat labor offices from Lesser Poland Voivodeship.

Blog zawiera przemyślenia i przykłady polityk z różnych krajów, które ograniczają rozprzestrzenianie się COVID-19 i ich potencjalny wpływ na osoby starsze w obszarach rynku pracy, dostępności cyfrowej, dystansu społecznego, dostępu do sklepów, opieki zdrowotnej, opieka terminowa, kultura i rozrywka, uczenie się przez całe życie i transport.
